According to Princess Joy Esamah of Image lifters, the event was packaged to celebrate the Oba of Benin for his contribution to the preservation of the Bini kingdom. Other persnalities that graced the event includes: Lancelot Imasen, Princess Aibi Erediawa; the daughter of the oba of Benin.
Let me give you a brief history of their rocky relationship. Mario and Raffaella dated for about a year. They broke up in April 2012 after Rafaella accused Mario of cheating. Two months later the model announced she was pregnant. Mario said he would only accept the pregnancy after a paternity test. Last week, the 22 year Manchester City footballer said he would be patching up his relationship with his pregnant ex. He said:
'I have decided to try again with Raffaella. The DNA test has not been performed and has nothing to do with my decision. In any case, I would have asked for the test in that situation with anyone, not just Raffaella. I am sorry for everything that has happened over the last few months and above all for what has been said and written. I ask once again for you all to respect our private life that in the future must remain private, a pledge taken by me and Raffaella. There will be no further statements or interviews.'A week later, photos surface of the two kissing. Awwwww, how sweet! All's well that ends well!

Friends are wondering if things are cooling off between Kim Kardashian and her new beau, Kanye West, who appeared in her life just in time to take the attention away from her disastrous marriage and divorce with Kris Humphries.
While Kim is in Miami to film her family reality show, Kanye has been living it up at Paris fashion week, even though he isn’t showing his clothing line there. On Sunday he was at a party hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and Olivier Zahm to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Purple magazine.
Another source tells us that things between Kanye and Kim are “cooling off” because “he’s getting tired of the constant press and promotion. He’s not as tight with her as he was.”
The actress announced on Twitter this night that she will soon release a new song. Within seconds of the announcement, fans attacked her. They didn't want to hear it. Hehe! And in true Tonto fashion (she doesn't back down from a fight), she attacked back...lol. #craziness! See it after the cut...
You can see more on her Twitter page...:-)

As part of a planned African Tour, International Tennis champions, Serena and Venus Williams are scheduled to visit Lagos from Tuesday 30 October to Friday 2, November 2012 as part of the first leg of the recently launched ‘Breaking the Mould’ (BTM) campaign, a women’s empowerment initiative that has already garnered international support.
While in Lagos, the dynamic duo will inspire, motivate and mentor a broad range of audiences through a series of supporting initiatives which include; a gala dinner, a tennis clinic and an exhibition match which will also be the first time the sisters will pit their strengths against one another on the tennis court anywhere in Africa.
This will underpin BTM’s mission to recognise and acknowledge the role that women play in shifting perceptions and encouraging development on all levels across the African continent.
Connect Marketing Services, Octagon SA’s West African affiliate (the architects of BTM), is coordinating the Nigerian element of the Williams Sisters’ tour of Africa. Tunji Adeyinka, Managing Director of Connect Marketing Services, says that ‘‘Breaking The Mould is an inspiring mechanism to help women at various life stages of their lives - embark on a journey of self-belief so that they can know they can achieve anything. The message of the African Tour by the Williams’ sisters will resonate with African women as a whole, who are often the champions of change and encourage more women to do the same. Indeed, we are proud to implement Breaking The Mould in Nigeria.”
Despite the high profile nature of these events, fans and followers of the dynamic duo have the opportunity to WIN special invites to the gala night, tennis clinics, and exhibition match. All any interested participant needs to do is like the NigeriaBTM page on Facebook (www.facebook.com/nigeriabtm) and also follow @nigeriaBTM on Twitter (www.twitter.com/nigeriabtm) for more details on how to WIN tickets.
This event will really boost the image of Lagos state a global sports tourism location, and raise the global profile of all participating brands.

Visit Laserderm Specialist Skin clinic today for unwanted hair on your face, arm etc

Laserderm is a specialist skin clinic, a first of its kind in Nigeria that applies a variety of cutting-edge beauty technologies in therapeutic and cosmetic procedures to treat and care for the skin. One of the many treatments the beauty clinic offers is Laser Hair Removal.
Laser Hair Removal is a technique that uses beams of highly concentrated light to penetrate the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by pigment in the follicles and destroys the hair within them. Laser hair removal is among the most commonly performed cosmetic procedures in the U.S, however Lasers are useful for removing unwanted hair from the face, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line, and other areas where unsightly hair is a problem.

Lasers can selectively target dark, coarse hairs while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged.
Each pulse of the laser takes a fraction of a second and can treat many hairs at the same time. The laser can treat an area approximately the size of a quarter every second. Small areas such as the upper lip can be treated in less than a minute, and large areas, such as the back or legs, may take up to an hour.
Ninety percent of patients have permanent hair loss after an average of three to five sessions.
Laser hair removal is more than just ''zapping'' unwanted hair. It is a medical procedure that requires training to perform and carries potential risks. Before getting laser hair removal, that is why you should visit Laserderm where head specialist and expert medical practitioner Dr Awudu, and his team of Doctors have expert knowledge of this treatment.
Also, if you are planning on undergoing laser hair removal, you should limit plucking, waxing, and electrolysis for six weeks before treatment. That's because the laser targets the hairs' roots, which are temporarily removed by waxing or plucking.
Just before the procedure, your hair that will be undergoing treatment will be trimmed to a few millimeters above the skin surface. The laser equipment will be adjusted according to the colour, thickness, and location of your hair being treated as well as your skin colour.
Depending on the laser or light source used, you and the doctor will need to wear appropriate eye protection. It will also be necessary to protect the outer layers of your skin with a cold gel or special cooling device. This will help the laser light penetrate the skin.
Next, the doctor will give a pulse of light to the treatment area and watch the area for several minutes to make sure the best settings were used and to check for bad reactions.
When the procedure is completed, you may be given ice packs, anti-inflammatory creams or lotions, or cold water to ease any discomfort. You may schedule your next treatment four to six weeks later. You'll get treatments until hair stops growing.
Over the next month, your treated hair will fall out. Wear sunscreen for the following month to help prevent temporary changes in the color of the treated skin.
Blisters are rare but are more likely in people with darker complexions. Other potential side effects are swelling, redness, and scarring.
We recommend you visit an expert specialist clinic such as Laserderm to avoid permanent scarring, also changes in skin colour are rare. If efforts to remove unwanted hair leave you with bumps, nicks, burns, or the hassles of repeated shaving, tweezing, or waxing, laser hair removal may be an option worth considering.
Laserderm Clinics also has other cutting-edge beauty technologies including Pseudofolliculitis Barbae (treatments of ingrown hair as a result of shaving), Skin Rejuvenation (solving skin problems from acne, acne scarring, psoriasis, pigmented skin lesions and patches), Lines and Wrinkle Treatment (an age reversal treatment), Hyperhidrosis (treatment of excessive sweating, typically under armpits areas), Removal of Leg & Facial Veins and Onychomycosis (treatment of fungal nail infection).
